How can coaching help my business?
Being an entrepreneur can be lonely, especially without a business partner or board to bounce your ideas off of or take on some of the workloads. In my coaching business, I mentor independent small business owners to help them sort through their ideas and challenges, identify tasks to delegate and set up a foundation they need to grow their businesses into ones they love.
Approximately 30% of my business is comprised of hourly coaching to both new and experienced entrepreneurs. Many of my clients are thriving, yet still benefit from an outside perspective. Some are in the beginning stages, testing out their concepts before taking the plunge into a brick-and-mortar location. As entrepreneurs, we spend so much time working IN the business that we forget to work ON our business. The coaching structure helps my clients set aside time to work on their businesses. In the time we spend together, we create and implement a tactical improvement plan based on their income and quality of life goals.
We set goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound (SMART). We then identify the tactics, action steps, and resources needed to achieve them. Some of these resources require financing or other professional services. In our calls each week, we get closer and closer to a business they love and that supports their dream of being a successful entrepreneur, however they define it.
